Welcome
The City of Fort Worth is planning for the future of the park system with the Play Big, Park, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan. The purpose of this plan is to understand the park system as it is today and help plan for the future.
The people of Fort Worth are at the heart of this story. Together, let’s create a recreation system throughout Fort Worth that reflects the beauty and diversity of our community.
About the Project
Last done in 2015, the plan will guide the city for the next 10 years. This plan will assess the current park system, gather input from the community and City staff regarding what is needed and what visions they may have for the park system, and lay out a roadmap for visioning and implementation for years to come.
